Mike Green

Mike Green remembers being inspired to play music as early as kindergarten. "I had a guitar I used to fool around with. Nothing serious but I always felt like I connected with music".

In the mid sixties Mike discovered the boys from England. "I was aware of The Beatles but I didn't really get the full impact until I saw Help! on the big screen. I was blown away. I remember thinking that's something I'd like to do with my life! It was time get a new guitar and get serious. It's safe to say that they have been a major influence on me since those early days".

In the 1980's Mike was involved in recording projects with members of FOREIGNER and Mr. Ben E. King. He was also contracted to write and produce his own music. He has extensive studio experience as a vocalist covering a wide array of styles ranging from children's songs to cool jazz; romantic ballads to all out screaming rock tunes!

Mike has also recorded numerous jingles that have aired in local and regional advertising campaigns.

Over the years he has performed in a host of popular local bands including several Beatle bands where he portrayed Paul McCartney. Being a Beatlemaniac from way back, Mike is a natural fit with The Liverpool Shuffle. He is an extremely exciting performer. He knows this music in and out, is an accomplished bassist and delivers vocals that soar with a style and enthusiasm that never fails to rock the house. His keyboard work also allows The Liverpool Shuffle to perform some of the later Beatle music in a LIVE setting.
